PresidentBorn in the Wairarapa and raised in Gisborne, I moved to Wellington for University and never left. I am currently working as a solicitor in the Litigation Team at Rainey Collins Lawyers, WYP’s legal sponsor. I am thoroughly enjoying my role as Secretary and am excited about the future prospects and growth for WYP as an organisation. In my spare time I enjoy running and love being outdoors.

Alan Williams
IT/WebmasterAlan is a currently a structural engineer with Aurecon. He has had some colourful experiences travelling overseas as a petroleum engineer, and has recently moved from Christchurch, where he worked on hydropower projects. Raised in Auckland and the Wairarapa, Alan studied at Canterbury University, and enjoys socialising, sport, mountain biking, and playing the piano. Alan is keen to see more young engineers participate in the Young Professionals network.
Nathan Rose
SponsorshipNathan is an investment banker at Forsyth Barr, and has degrees in finance and psychology from the University of Otago. As sponsorship manager, his role is to promote WYP to the broader business community, and develop the range of benefits on offer to both WYP and our sponsorship partners. In his spare time, Nathan enjoys outdoors excursions, film, and exploring the many cool spots Wellington has to offer.

Taniya Wick
Business and Inspire EventsBorn and raised in Sri Lanka, Taniya moved to Wellington at the age of 16. After completing high school in Wellington she went on to study at the University of Otago, majoring in Psychology with a minor in Education. She has worked for Choice Communication Group as a junior Life Consultant and Coach. Taniya currently works for GSB Supplycorp as a Membership Services Consultant. With a qualification in Image Consulting through the Fashion Academy NZ, Taniya is qualified in assisting individuals with their personal and professional image.
Taniya is keen to utilise her previous experience with events as the events manager for Sri Lankan Students’ Association, International Student Council of the University of Otago and various other organisations to provide the best value in delivering WYP’s Business and Inspire events.
