As it’s our first WYP drinks of the year, and we are in the spirit of the Sevens, we are offering everyone $4 drinks (+ free nibbles) ! This perk is soon to be members only, so don’t forget sign up or renew your membership, It starts at 5:30 pm so bring your friends and workmates!

Point Taken! Richard Buttenshaw Draws a Crowd to WYP Business Event

WYP’s Business Event on How to Get Your Point Across with Richard Buttenshaw, published author and sales guru, proved to be popular with members and non-members alike. The audience received valuable tips, lessons and stories from Richard on how to get the most out of your career and in life by employing better communicating and negotiating techniques. The amazing venue provided by Deloitte, our newest sponsor was also appreciated, as proven by the photos in our Gallery.

GOAL! Success at the Inspire Event with All Whites and Phoenix’s Tim Brown

WYP have become NZ’s first Young Professionals organisation to live stream an event! A big THANK YOU to Tim Brown, Canterbury Young Professionals (CYP) and everyone who attended our first Ricoh Inspire Series event of 2011 on 16 March amidst the laughter, locker room stories and free-flowing wine.

Lucy O’Neill of Intergen has joined the WYP Executive Committee as Social Events Co-ordinator in charge of our 2011 Cocktail Party. Lucy will also oversee our monthly drinks and other social events.
