Since Copenhagen WYP has had to line up behind the Christmas Holidays, Prince William’s tour and the recent tax debate to get a date with the Honourable John Key. However, after the particular determination of one our executive committee members we are back on!

The breakfast is at the same place and time but now on Wednesday 24th March.

Yes, the new and flash 2010 WYP cards are currently being printed and will be winging their way to your letter boxes at the beginning of February!

Apologies for the delay to those responsible individuals who have already renewed/signed up their memberships for 2010. We thank you for your support and patience and endeavour to be more prompt in the future.

We trust you’ll dig our new design and make sure to take time to check out the membership benefits you will be entitled to. There are many more in the pipeline so stay tuned!

How it works:
Your shiny new WYP card is bar-coded and provides you with a unique membership number. You will use this card to get discounted entry to our events, entry to our ‘members only’ functions and entitlement to our previously mentioned membership benefits.

NYC Pizza Night

WYP Members enjoyed an evening in true NYC style at Wholly Bagels (Taranaki), sampling their massively big and massively tasty New York sized pizzas and listened to the wonderful local jazz band, Cody Knox and The Destroyers.

Mucking in...at WYP's carbon offset event

A select group of eager beavers rose early one Saturday morning to enjoy a bagel breakfast from Wholly Bagels, a GO Wellington city bus ride and a bit of tree planting graciously provided by Ricoh at Manawa Karioi reserve.

The weather thankfully held out and we managed to even get a guided tour of the reserve.

Manawa Karioi also has a number of walking tracks and beautiful views open for public enjoyment. If you are interested in getting involved, the reserve has open working bee days the first and second Sunday of every month. Check them out here: www.mk.org.nz

LAUNCH PARTY - WYP has launched!

The Launch definitely went off with a bang and was a huge success. Even though the weather didn't come to the party, that didn't stop many of you and St Johns was buzzing at near full capacity. We hope you enjoyed your night, mingling with the fine crowd and finding out more about WYP.
